Avalara (Sage Sales Tax [SST]) deprecation of TLS 1.0 and 1.1 for REST V1 (December 31, 2022)

Avalara will discontinue support for Transport Layer Security (TLS) versions 1.0 and 1.1 on our Production environments for REST V1 and SOAP based integrations as of December 31, 2022.

V12: Upgrade to 2021R4 (12.0.28 or latest patch) which utilizes REST V2

• Verify REST V2 URLs are defined in LTPAR (Setup, Usage, Sage Sales Tax connection)

  • New V2 REST Production URL: https://rest.avatax.com

V11: Update to 11.0.22, install maintenance and verify V2 REST URLs are defined in LTPAR
