Adjustments to the New Jersey State Unemployment Insurance formula 2022

Adjustments required to the NJSUI formula for 2022. These adjustments will be automatically updated in a future tax release.

In order to update the NJSUI formula for the 2022 tax year follow the steps below:

  1. Go to File, Payroll Formulas, Sage-Maintained from the top toolbar.
  2. Click the Formula ID drop-down and scroll to the NJSUI2 and select.
  3. Verify the formula name column is NJSUI 22.
  4. In the Formula field locate the final line: ANSWER = -(Y-St_FLI_EE).
  5. Remove the St_FLI_EE so that the line reads: ANSWER = -Y.
  6. Click Save from the top toolbar to save the formula.
