NOTE: Sage 50 can only import properly formatted .CSV and .IMP files. See the links below for information on importing specific types of data.
Import data into Sage 50
- You must be in single-user mode to import data
- Export the data to one or more .CSV files.
- Modify the .CSV file(s), so they match the format required by Sage 50.
- Import the data into your current Sage 50 company.

TIP: Exporting existing data from Sage 50 can provide a useful template to help format your record data for import. If a file has no records, then enter a few records manually, export them, and open the exported file in excel. See the articles linked below for information on specific types of records.
Import / Export Customer name records
