For Sage 100 Contractor (formerly named Master Builder) version 18.3 and earlier, please submit a Sage Expert Services Request, to upgrade to the latest version of Sage 100 Contractor SQL. If you are a Business Partner, please log a LiveChat ticket to get what is needed for you to help your client. Always create a backup of your company data before upgrading your Sage 100 Contractor software. Beginning with the SQL version of Sage 100 Contractor, a company backup feature is included in the Sage 100 Contractor Database Administration application.
If you are upgrading from version 20.1 or later, do the following:
- Install the latest version of Sage 100 Contractor SQL and upgrade the company databases by using the "Upgrade Company Databases" feature in Database Administration for Sage 100 Contractor SQL.
If you are upgrading from version 19.8, do the following:
- Migrate your company databases to version 21.x or later, by using the "Migrate from 19.8" feature in Database Administration for Sage 100 Contractor SQL.
If you are upgrading from version 19.7 or earlier, do the following:
- Update your Sage 100 Contractor software to version 19.8 and open and re-index your company databases. After your company databases have been successfully re-indexed in version 19.8, migrate your company databases to version 21.x or later by using the "Migrate from 19.8" feature in Database Administration for Sage 100 Contractor SQL.
