CAUTION: This solution requires advanced knowledge of your network. Contact your system administrator for assistance. Modifying Windows security incorrectly can severely affect system operations. Sage is not responsible for operation issues caused by incorrectly modifying your Windows security. Always create a backup of your data before proceeding with advanced solutions.

  • While there are many network configurations you can use to successfully run Sage, we recommend sharing the folder directly above your data path folder. This will ensure optimal performance.
  • For example, if the data path on the server is C:\Sage\Peachtree\Company, then we recommend sharing the “Peachtree” directory.
  • In order to successfully run Sage, any user who will be accessing the program will need to be given Full Control to the shared folder. Refer Verify my data file permissions are correctly set for more detailed information.
