How to reset your Sage account (formerly Sage ID) password through Sage 50 CA?

Resolution

  1. In the latest version of Sage 50, on the Welcome screen go to Connect to a Shared Company.
    1. Your company has to be on Remote Data Access.
    2. If you're able to open a shared file, go to File, Connect to a Shared Company.
  2. Enter your Sage account email address and click Forgot Password.
    1. If you don't see Forgot password, click Log in as a different user.
  3. Check your email for the password reset link.
    1. Make sure to check junk/spam mailboxes.
    2. If you don't receive the email contact L2 support.
    3. If you close or leave, the page you have to start the process over.
  4. Enter and confirm a new password.
  5. Log in with your new password in Connect to a Shared Company.

 NOTE: If you don't have Sage 50 installed yet, you can follow the above procedure by going to https://account.sso.sage.com and clicking Forgot Password.
