How do I enter tax deposit liabilities for the quarter on my 941?

Summary

You need to record your tax deposit liabilities for the quarter on your Form 941 based on if you pay your tax liabilities Monthly or Semiweekly

Resolution

If you are a monthly or semiweekly depositor these amounts will populate automatically based on your liability in PR, Taxes, FICA and FWT Deposits

  • When the Form 941 appears on the screen, click to go to page 2
    • If Line 10 on Page 1 of your Form 941 is less than $2500.00
      • You must select the first option in Box 14 on Page 2
    • If you are a monthly depositor, the amounts will appear in the monthly liabilities for the quarter
    • If you are a semiweekly depositor
      • Check the box on the second page of the form title You were a semiweekly schedule depositor for any part of this quarter
      • Click OK when the message appears Semiweekly depositors must complete the 941 Schedule B (If necessary, the figures on the 941 Schedule B can be edited to reflect the correct liability for the period)
